BANGLADESH INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL AND STRATEGIC STUDIES

A delegation from National Management College, Lahore, Pakistan visited BIISS on 10 June 2009. The eight member delegation was headed by Dr. Imtiaz H. Bokhari, Directing Staff of the college. They were briefed about the aims, objectives, current setup and activities of BIISS through a presentation by Research Director Colonel A K M Nazrul Islam, afwc, psc, G. Delegation members also attended a presentation on SAFTA and Present Status by Mr. A B M Ziaur Rahman, Research Fellow of the institute. The presentations were followed by exchange of views with the faculty members on contemporary issues during the discussion session. Director General of the Institute Major General Sheikh Md Monirul Islam, ndc, psc gave the welcome speech and chaired the discussion session.
