Director General of BIISS Participated the China Institute of International Studies, Beijing, People's Republic of China on 27 September 2023

Major General Sheikh Pasha Habib Uddin, OSP, SGP, BAMS, afwc, psc, Director General, Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) visited the China Institute of International Studies, Beijing, People's Republic of China on September 27 (Wednesday), 2023 to attend a seminar on “China Bangladesh Relations amid the Changing Global Power in the Bay of Bengal Region”. The topics discussed during the two sessions include “The Changing Global Power in the Bay of Bengal Region”, and “The Belt and Road Cooperation and the Prospect of China-Bangladesh relations”. Opening remarks were delivered by Ambassador Farooq Sobhan. The sessions involved discussions from Ambassador Humayun Kabir; Ambassador Tariq Karim; Mr Faiz Sobhan, Senior Research Director, Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI). Shahab Enam Khan, Professor, Department of International Relations, Jahangirnagar University, delivered the concluding remarks.
