Biography

Segufta Hossain is a Research Director at Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS). She joined BIISS on 1st September 2004. Her areas of interest are Environment and Environmental Security, Environment and Security Nexus, Environmental Changes and its Impacts on Human Security, Climate Change and Strategic Issues. Segufta Hossain has done her PhD in Geography and Environment from Jahnagirnagar University, Bangladesh. She did her M. Sc. and B. Sc. from the Department of Geography and Environment, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.
