Biography
Farzana Fatima is Research Officer at the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS). Her area of interest includes Terrorism, Counterterrorism and Global Security, South Asian Affairs, Global and Regional Politics in South Asia, Geo-political Competition and Regional Security Complex, and UN Peace Support Operations. She has previously worked on Conflict Resolution and on Deradicalization and Rehabilitation as soft approaches to Counterterrorism in Bangladesh. Farzana Fatima has completed her undergraduate (2022) and post-graduate courses (2023) from the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies, Bangladesh University of Professionals. She has been serving at BIISS since May 2023.
