CIISS–BIISS engagement and BIISS–CIISS Dialogue in Dhaka.
A five-member delegation from the China Institute for International Strategic Studies (CIISS), led by Major General Yan Jiangfeng (Retd.), visited the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) and participated in a day-long seminar titled “BIISS-CIISS Dialogue” organized at the BIISS Auditorium.
The dialogue brought together researchers, strategic analysts, policymakers, and members of the visiting delegation to discuss issues of mutual interest concerning Bangladesh-China relations, regional security, emerging geopolitical trends, and prospects for enhanced cooperation between the two institutions.
During the seminar, both sides exchanged views on contemporary strategic and security challenges in the regional and global context. The discussions highlighted the importance of regular academic exchanges, research collaboration, and dialogue in strengthening mutual understanding and promoting greater cooperation between Bangladesh and China.
The meeting concluded with a commitment from both BIISS and CIISS to continue their collaborative engagements and deepen institutional ties through future exchanges and joint research initiatives.
