BANGLADESH INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL AND STRATEGIC STUDIES

Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) is a statutory institution established by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on 25 June 1978, with the aim of undertaking research and deliberation on international affairs, security, strategic and developmental issues. In its journey of more than four decades, the premier think tank has contributed immensely in advancing knowledge and understanding of these fields in Bangladesh and beyond. At the national level, BIISS contributes through in-depth research on contemporary and emerging topics, assists the government when required in the planning, formulation and implementation of policies in relevant fields and facilitates a forum for different stakeholders to constructively discuss issues of national interest.
