Abstract

This article provides an overview of Bangladesh-Bhutan relations in the two decades since independence. It examines early diplomatic recognition, trade agreements, cultural exchanges, and cooperation in SAARC. The study emphasizes Bhutan’s role in supporting Bangladesh at the UN in 1971 and the continued goodwill shaping bilateral relations.
