Dr Jasim is a Research Director at the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS). He is a permanent Faculty of the Institute since June 2006. Before that, he was a Research Faculty of the National Institute of Local Government (NILG), Bangladesh. For BIISS, he has worked on diverse national, regional and global areas of research interests and by the time has also developed his specific research arenas include economic diplomacy of Bangladesh, blue economy, nation branding, global economic governance, regional integration and connectivity. Beyond national and international publications in his credit, he is continuing to contribute in BIISS Journal. Dr Jasim completed Bachelor and Master of Social Science in Economics. He did MA in Globalization and Development and PhD in International Relations.
