The Dialogue programme focused on the future of EU relations with South Asia, which took place in Brussels from the 17 to the 21 March 2024. The event was hold over the course of two days, with an additional day for meetings with experts from the EU Institutions and Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), as well as colleagues at the European External Action Service (EEAS).
The dialogue was attended by representatives from five think
tanks from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Singapore.
The Dialogue explored key areas of collaboration and
challenges in the context of EU relations with South Asia, with a focus on the
following three thematic areas with a focus on Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and
Bangladesh:
