Abstract
This seminar assessed Bangladesh’s place in contemporary development debates within the global context. It examined themes of globalization, trade liberalization, poverty reduction, and inequality. Scholars evaluated Bangladesh’s successes in garments, remittances, and human development, while also discussing vulnerabilities to external shocks. The seminar concluded that integration into global markets must be accompanied by inclusive and sustainable policies to ensure resilience.
