Abstract
This lecture analyzed the challenges of reconciling divided societies, drawing lessons from Sri Lanka. It examined conflict dynamics, peace processes, and governance reforms. The lecture highlighted the costs of exclusionary politics and the importance of inclusive governance for sustainable peace. It concluded that divided societies require both reconciliation and institutional reforms for long-term stability.
